A player who hardly needs any introduction and is probably on the lips of most top European clubs recruitment teams especially with the January transfer window around the corner. Camavinga made his professional debut in a 3-3 draw against Angers on 06/04/2019 and in doing so he became the youngest player to play for Rennes 1st team. If people hadn't heard of him after his debut, they certainly did at the beginning of the 2019/20 season after Camavinga assisted a goal and was named man of the match in a 2-1 win against French giants PSG. Already a French international making his debut before he turned 18 coming on as a substitute against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League during the September internationals, he then followed this up with a lovely overhead kick which was the opening goal in a 7-1 rout vs Ukraine at the start of October. He was also voted in the top 5 of NxGn 2020 finishing behind Rodrygo, Ansu Fati, Mason Greenwood and Reiner.
Style of play
Not your typical Central Midfielder, a very silky and skilful player; Eduardo is as good with the ball as he is without it. He has a great range of passing and a good eye for a pass, he loves to play short and long passes, he also likes to switch the ball quickly to keep the possession ticking over and find gaps in the oppositions defence to create chances. Camavinga is very dynamic CM showing grit and determination to win the ball back when his side are out of possession, he is very happy with making a slide tackle to take the ball from his opponent. When winning the ball from the opposition he looks to start a counter attack and break with the ball and will gladly beat a defender with ease. Due to how unorthodox Eduardo is on the ball and by using quick turns and roulettes he either beats the man and creates space to drive forward into or he draws the defender into making a foul.

Evaluation
Camavinga is an exciting young prospect who is more than likely going to be a world class player for many years to come and is on a long list of young and upcoming players who could potentially win the Balon D'Or in the future. Due to his elegance and silkiness on the ball and his grit and sheer determination out of possession, he could truly change the way that the Box to Box/Ball Winning Midfielder roles are perceived in world football. He has the potential to be a key player in France's golden generation and could be crucial in their defence of the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Currently under contract at Rennes until 2022 and reports are suggesting that he is likely to sign a 12 month extension to this contract, however I believe this is to ensure that the club get a very healthy sum of money when his multiple suitors come calling. I reckon he will likely transfer from Rennes by the end of the 2021/22 season at the very latest and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the top 6 sides in England or PSG were to sign him.
